This is music composed and performed by Paul Hartung in collaboration with visual artist Kay Hartung in response to selected paintings from her Geocolor series. Kay sees the pieces as having unique personalities, and had the idea of giving them musical voices. The compositions are short improvised melodies created in response to each of the pieces of art.

Paul Hartung is a composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer. His instruments include clarinet, alto clarinet, bass clarinet, Roland Aerophone (wind synthesizer), keyboard and Apple Logic production software. He co-founded the bands Tension and Constant Change.
